This interesting concept came to me while exploring different ideas for my new logo. It surprised me how much the pencil shape stuck with me, catching root in my head. A poster done for the medieval band Ad Hoc. The general guidelines were to preserve a sense of mistery, spatiality and grandness. For this, I was asked to limit the information on the image to just the band and concert name, as well as the time and place of the event. The request was for heavy snow combined with a cosmic, yet simple, skyscape.

Just before going to sleep one night this idea came to mind about the letter "i" being killed by another letter. As usual I doodled it on my sketchbook so as not to loose it. It seemed like a fun thing to mess with and little by little I ended up with the result you see. First I was only planing on using the word "kill" but seing as how I was supposed to be working on a project instead of killing (...)

Concept done for the medieval music band "Ad Hoc", in which a friend of mine is playing. They are at the begining of their journey and need a good visual identity to represent them. I find that the way all the letters come together in a perfect circle is a good depiction of how things can simply fall into place to allow for something great to take shape, be it visual art or music. A unique website done for a manufacturer of custom made - unique - handcrafted - wooden pens. The design is intended to capture the elegance of these works of art which themselves encapsulate both the beauty of wood fiber and the finesse of the craftsman. I've always found these fossilized marine creatures extremely interesting and always wanted one for my own but never managed to have it. I thought with this piece I could bring one closer in a sort of messed up, corroded metal, old rock fossil kind of way. Took me quite awhile to pick the right tones for this wallpaper, trying to get a sort of worn metal but also ancient fossil slate kind of look. (...)

This is a wallpaper I hadn't initially designed for public use, only being ment for personal use. Seing as how I found it in the folder along with other such put-together pieces I then thought maybe some of you might enjoy it on your computers. It's just a simple wood fiber macro shot which I finely tuned, sharpened and blurred a little to make it more powerful. Resources used: wood.
